Christie Clarke

As the founder of Out-A-Box Parenting, Inc., CHRISTIE CLARKE speaks to large and small groups of parents, teachers, administrators, and business owners in Chicagoland and beyond. As a speaker, Christie enlightens, educates, entertains, and empowers anyone who’s willing to LISTEN. As an author, parenting coach, mother of 4 and grandmother of 6, she brings patience, a wealth of experience, and a sense of humor to all her work. As a certified classroom teacher with experience in 5 states, Christie’s work in preschools, detention centers, alternative and college prep high schools makes her successful at training educators. As a parent coach who travels to individual homes, Christie has been dubbed “The Nanny of Elgin,” working with individuals to help bring peace to households and quality to relationships. Her extensive training and personal experience mixes with her positive and often humorous views of parenting and teaching to make her classes informative, practical, and fun.

Timothy J. Hayes

Also involved in Out-A-Box Parenting, Inc. as a consultant and referral partner, TIMOTHY J. HAYES, PSY.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Crystal Lake, Illinois. With over thirty years of successful experience doing therapy with individuals and families, he is a sought after presenter and keynote speaker. As a psychologist and a father, Dr. Hayes teaches parenting skills and has written extensively about power struggles. His widely acclaimed book, Parenting Power Struggle Handbook is now available on his web site www.ch4cs.com. In addition to his role as therapist and parenting expert, Dr. Hayes speaks professionally on wide variety of topics related to mental health, relationships, parenting, and the mind/body connection. Out-A-Box Parenting, Inc. is delighted to have him collaborate on topic development, training, materials, and presentations.

Amy Collins

Amy Collins is the Program Director for Out-A-Box Parenting, Inc. A busy and involved mother of three, Amy's career focus has been in understanding and measuring consumer opinion, satisfaction, and behavior with eight years professional experience in market research. Most recently, she spent three years working with American host families and their visiting caregivers in the Chicago suburbs for a national Au Pair agency, requiring marketing, customer service, and family mediation skills. As Program Director, Amy handles class scheduling and cost proposals, as well as being a trained Out-A-Box Parenting, Inc. facilitator.

We all share universally applicable and simple tools which put the fun back in communication and the joy back in living! In meeting after meeting and workshop after workshop, we’ve found that the concepts we share apply to all human beings – not just parents!
